The technical and vocational education and training sector plays an important role in transitioning the agriculture-led economy to an industrial-led economy in order to make our country’s global journey of change stronger, and it is making a great contribution in providing the necessary manpower for the industry.

Accordingly, Training and Academic affairs directorate are responsible to fill the gap of supply and demand between TVET and industry. To produce qualified human resources at low and medium level the college conducts a market research based on the needs of the industry; and it provides result-oriented training with certification.

The main functions of the directorates are:

  3. Research and Publication Services;
  4. Vocational Guidance and Counseling Services;
  5. Creating industrial linkages;
  6. Job linkage services
  7. Result oriented training and library services.

In addition, the college is working with in various industries, Bureau of Labor Enterprise and Industrial Development, Education and Training Quality Vocational Qualification and Assessment Certification Authority, universities and research institutes, Ministry of Labor and Skills, professional associations, Association of Private Technical and Vocational Training Institutions and national and international donor organizations to make the service available to the community at large.

Accordingly, as technical and vocational training is flexible, any citizen who wants to be trained can come and register and be trained at any time. I am calling on organizations to be able to participate in research in the same way, and we have packaged training skills for any organization. So, I would like to point out that companies can also get the training for your loved employees.

With warm regards,
